What does it cover?
The Bupa Global Travel policy is a modular travel policy consisting of three modules:
Basic cover – worldwide medical cover
Purchase of this module is compulsory. This extensive medical cover allows you to use any recognized hospital or doctor wherever you are in the world. Most dangerous sports and occupations are covered as are most risk and war zones. You have access to a 24/7 emergency service giving you the reassurance that help is just a phone call away. There are no deductibles or excess on this part of the policy.

You may either purchase single trip cover (maximum length 1 year) or annual cover (any number of trips within a year/each trip up to 1 month duration). Cover may be extended by purchasing additional days.
Who is it for?
This policy is suitable for anyone who does not have medical cover outside of their country of residence. It is also suitable for Bupa Global members who are travelling to the US.
What does it cost?
This will depend on which modules you require and whether you require single trip or annual cover. For single trips it will also depend on your length of trip. Children under 2 are covered free.
Are there any waiting periods?
It is important that you buy medical cover to start from the day you leave your country of residence. If you buy cover after you leave, there is a 3 day waiting period. Pre-existing medical conditions are not covered.
What is the upper age?
Cover is only available up to the age of 70
